Tanya Duncan is the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Arc. In this role, she is committed to helping employees have a positive work experience, the training they need to do their jobs efficiently, and supporting a work-life balance. She joined the agency in 2018 as the Human Resources Director and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR including employee relations, recruitment, employee engagement, and benefits administration. Tanya has over 30 years of experience working in various non-profit agencies including the Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center and Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. Her passion is working for mission driven organizations to help the most vulnerable populations. She earned her master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Suffolk University, and during her time off, she enjoys reading, traveling, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.
