Brenda Linden is The Arc of the South Shore’s Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer, joining The Arc in 2014 as the agency’s Development Director. In her role, Brenda oversees all philanthropic efforts for the agency. She also collaborates closely with our CEO, Abby Parilla, on employee satisfaction efforts and Board of Director development. Brenda received her BA in journalism from Marquette University. She began her career with Reebok International as their U.S. Apparel Public Relations and Marketing Manager. She then shifted to focus in the non-profit sector, which she has now been a part of for more than 30 years. She served as the Director of Marketing and PR for the National Kidney Foundation and then The New England Director for Share Our Strength. Through her work at The Arc, Brenda shows a true passion for helping the individuals that we serve and creating a more inclusive society for all. As a South Shore native, Brenda now lives in North Weymouth and enjoys spending summers on the beach.
