Shanelia Rainey

The Arc South Shore is pleased to welcome Shay Rainey as Compliance and Training Director. Shay holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health from Boston University and is a Certified Gerontologist.

Before joining The Arc South Shore, Shay served as Corporate Social Responsibility Senior Manager for a multi-state organization. She brings valuable experience in managing compliance across complex systems while upholding strong ethical standards and supporting community-focused initiatives.

Shay believes that compliance is more than meeting requirements. It is about ensuring safety, dignity, and a high quality of life for every individual served. She is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and advocacy, and to equipping staff with the training and knowledge needed to support individuals in living as independently as possible.

“I'm excited to join The Arc South Shore and support a mission that puts people first,” said Rainey. “By strengthening training and compliance, we can help ensure every individual receives the respect, care, and opportunities they deserve.”
