Karin Eddy serves as Chief People Officer at The Arc of the South Shore, where she leads the organization's people strategy, workforce development, and culture initiatives. With more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience across multiple Commonwealth of Massachusetts agencies, Karin brings extensive expertise in strategic workforce planning, labor relations, organizational development, compliance, employee engagement, and talent management.

Prior to joining The Arc, Karin held leadership roles with the Department of Developmental Services, the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the Group Insurance Commission. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Curry College, graduating magna cum laude, and has completed graduate-level coursework in education. Karin also holds a Certificate in Human Services Leadership and Management through the EOHHS/Suffolk University Senior Leader Program.

At The Arc of the South Shore, Karin oversees People Operations, including human resources, payroll, benefits, training, compliance, and workforce development. She leads a dedicated team consisting of Shay Rainey, Director of Training & Compliance; Gabby Edwards, Human Resources Generalist; and Kate Mack, Payroll & Benefits Specialist. Together, they support The Arc's mission by attracting, developing, and retaining a talented workforce committed to delivering high-quality services to individuals and families.
