Danielle PremDas is the Director of Adult Foster Care (AFC) at The Arc of the South Shore. In this role, Danielle is responsible for managing all AFC staff, confirming that the program is compliant with standards, and ensuring that individuals are receiving the highest possible level of care. Additionally, she is committed to promoting the growth of the program to ensure that all South Shore residents in need of our services can receive the necessary care. Danielle started at The Arc in 2019 as a full-time care manager. Her consistency, dedication, and passion have afforded her several promotions, she was later promoted to AFC coordinator, and in 2023 was promoted again to Director of AFC. Danielle’s career before joining The Arc bodes a wealth of experience in this field, working for 13 years as a residential counselor at Bamsi Inc. and Growthways Inc. She received her associates degree from Massasoit Community College and her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Bridgewater State University. Danielle is one of our most active staff volunteers at Arc events, she loves engaging with the individuals we serve, meeting new people, and diving into the South Shore community. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys doing anything creative, including arts and crafts, and she is especially talented at crotchet. She is extremely passionate about our work at The Arc and the services that we provide. Danielle noticed a gap in the services available to individuals with disabilities and she wanted to be a part of the change that helps fill that gap and creates a more inclusive society for all, that’s what brought her to The Arc. Danielle is also passionate about contributing to the amazing corporate culture that we have here at The Arc and that shows through her work each day.
