Become a Friend of The Arc: Volunteer

Each year we engage more than 200 volunteers and interns who share their time and talents with our participants, allowing us to build stronger social, recreational, and educational programs. Volunteers offer enrichment programming including art classes, yoga and fitness opportunities, and music programs. They also assist with our fundraising events.

In addition to individual opportunities, we host group service days with local businesses that complete projects ranging from painting our administrative offices and residential homes, improving our landscaping, and providing programmatic and administrative support.

As a volunteer, you will add significant value to our programs as well as the women, men, and children we serve. Our volunteers also report that the experience is extremely rewarding.

Do you have a special talent or desire to support people with disabilities? Join us today! As a community-based organization, we depend upon volunteers like you in our mission to provide the highest-quality services to people with disabilities.

Please email Beth Merrifield with any questions. Interested in volunteering? Please complete our online volunteer application.
