Elizabeth Jones joined The Arc of the South Shore in 2019 as the agency’s Grant Writer. In 2023, she became Director of Development and Communication, followed by a promotion to Chief Program Officer in 2024. She now serves as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer, bringing a broad perspective on organizational strategy, program innovation, fundraising, and operational excellence. Throughout her career at The Arc, Elizabeth has helped drive organizational growth, strengthen services, build community partnerships, and develop sustainable systems that advance the agency’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities and their families.

Prior to joining The Arc, Elizabeth spent six years at Health Imperatives in Brockton and eight years at Metro Housing|Boston. She earned her master’s degree in sociology from Northeastern University in 2005, her bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 2003, and a certificate in copyediting from Emerson College in 2020.

Elizabeth is a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce’s NPO Group and Women in Development of Greater Boston. She is also a proud member of the Friends of the Ventress Memorial Library in Marshfield, where she puts her fundraising skills to work in support of the local community. A South Shore native, Elizabeth lives in Marshfield with her two daughters.
