What We Do

Family Support Services

  • Family Support Services provide social opportunities for children, young adults and adults in a fun and stimulating environment. The programs are designed to provide activities that facilitate the development of interpersonal skills and relationships, enhance emotional and social functioning and promote greater community inclusion.

Provided services include:

  • IEP assistance
  • Educational consulting
  • Dances
  • Saturday respite
  • Information and referrals
  • Transition planning for individuals turning 22 years of age
  • Informational workshops

Information Services:

The Arc of the South Shore is a member of the Massachusetts Network of Information Providers (MNIP), an extensive network of disability-related agencies that work together to provide information. Please call (781) 335-3023 ext. 0, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, for more information about disability conditions, services available and eligibility.
