 of ALEC training is to complement\, not replace\, previous training and to
  provide additional tools to use in accessing the risk of a situation.\nAL
 EC is a program of The Arc of South Norfolk Family Autism Center. All ALEC
  instructors have experience as EMT’s/First Responders and have a family m
 ember with ASD.  \n\nBasic EMTs\, advanced EMTs and paramedics earn 3 cont
 inuing education hours for attending this training. This training is impor
 tant and also appropriate for caregivers and employees who work with indiv
 iduals with ASD to collaborate with First Responders. \n\nThis training is
  free\, but requires pre-registration.\n
