Many parents have voiced that school vacation weeks and the summertime are extremely challenging, and at times, overwhelming to the entire family. The option of a school vacation program will allow parents and caregivers a vital resource of programming for their child during these difficult weeks of the school year.
We are pleased to offer December vacation programming
On Wednesday, December 27, 2017, the two-hour session will incorporate one Fitness class AND one Art class provided by trained instructors to offer your child the opportunity to build gross motor, fine motor, sensory motor and visual/perceptual skills while exploring and creating a work of art!
On Thursday, December 28, 2017, the two-hour session will incorporate one music therapy class with a board-certified therapist AND one yoga class run by an experienced special needs instructor. Students will enjoy making music with others and will learn relaxation and self-regulation techniques in a calming yoga class.
*An Arc behavior specialist and staff will support each group. All activities can and will be modified/adapted for all abilities, allowing all individuals to engage and successfully participate in the group.
Cheeretta Fitness helps children and teens with disabilities to move in new and fun ways!
