Get involved become a Volunteer!

It's not just an afternoon off from work when you help with the Arc of the South Shore community outing or on-site craft project. The Arc staff regularly needs assistance with projects and outings that typically take place on weekday afternoons.  We welcome individuals and small groups of volunteers. Many employers offer their staff the opportunity to volunteer without the loss of vacation or personal time.

The Arc of the South Shore also runs a variety of recreation and leisure programs that volunteers can help with. Whether you come along for a dance and a movie with a small group of adults with developmental disabilities or help out with our Recreation programs, which serve children and adults with special needs, your assistance is important!
