The Arc of the South Shore’s Day Habilitation program, located at our North Weymouth headquarters is a multi-faceted program for adults with disabilities. The program employs a team approach to provide a wide range of therapeutic supports with the goal of improving independent functioning in the areas of self-care, mobility, communication, health maintenance, nutrition, social skills, community integration and behavior management. Our participants engage in curriculum-based activities such as cooking, gardening, music, fitness, expressive arts, and sensory stimulation. The community is accessed by going out to eat, bowling, attending church services, visiting local attractions, membership in the senior center as well as volunteer opportunities at the local food pantry and meal delivery program.
